Tropelorio privacy policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026.
Tropelorio is an app of mini-games, leaderboards and memes. This policy explains what data it processes, why, for how long and what you can do about it. You can play without an account: almost everything the app does stays on your phone.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Pull to Haptic Development (PTHD). For any question or to exercise your rights, write to tropelorio@gmail.com.
What data we process
| Data | When | What for |
|---|---|---|
| Installation identifier (random, created by the app), platform, language, app version and, if you allow notifications, the Firebase Cloud Messaging notification token. | Whenever the app connects, with or without an account. | Running the app (language, minimum version, notices), sending you notifications and enforcing moderation blocks. |
| Account: Firebase identifier, sign-in provider (Google or Apple), email (if the provider shares it), alias, character, language and last connection date. Firebase Authentication also keeps the name and profile picture link that Google or Apple provide; Tropelorio does not use them. | Only if you sign in with Google or Apple. | Keeping your profile on the server and across phones. |
| Games: game, score, time, moves, errors and similar data for each game, with its date. | With an account, when a game ends. | Seasonal leaderboards. They are checked to detect impossible scores. |
| Memes you publish (text and character) and reports you make about other people's memes. | With an account, when you publish or report. | The shared wall and its moderation. |
| Moderation notices, sanctions and blocks, with their reason. | If something of yours is moderated. | Keeping the wall and the leaderboards in order. |
| Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and usage data (Firebase Analytics): which games are opened, when a meme is published, phone model, system version and an approximate location (country or city) that Analytics derives from the IP address, without storing it. | Only if you accept it in the app. You can change it at any time in your profile, under «Send crashes and usage data». | Fixing bugs and knowing what to improve. They never include what you write or your email. |
| App verification (Firebase App Check with Play Integrity or App Attest). | On every connection. | Checking that requests come from the original app and not from a copy or an automated program. |
What is public: your alias and your character appear next to your leaderboard places and your published memes. Choose an alias that does not identify you if you do not want to be recognised.
What we do not process: your precise location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers (the app does not read the phone's advertising ID). The app shows no ads and sells no data.
Why we may process it
- To provide the service you ask for (account, leaderboards, memes, notifications you turn on): performance of the terms of use.
- Security, moderation and app verification: our legitimate interest in the service not being used to cheat, abuse others or attack it.
- Crash reports and usage data: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without the app stopping working.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell your data. We use these providers to deliver the service:
- Google (Firebase): sign-in (Authentication), notifications (Cloud Messaging), app verification (App Check), crash reports (Crashlytics) and usage data (Analytics).
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Attest, if you use an iPhone.
- Google (Gmail): receiving and responding to support emails.
- HostGator: hosting of the server where the database lives.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States, depending on where their services are located. You can request information about international processing of your data by writing to the contact email.
How long it is kept
- Account, games, memes and reports: as long as you have the account. When you ask to delete it, they stop being shown right away and are deleted for good after 30 days; if you sign in with it before then, the deletion is cancelled.
- Session on a phone: expires after 30 days without renewal.
- Record of each installation: while the app is used. If it has no account, it is deleted automatically after a year without connecting.
- Moderation blocks on a phone: while they are in force, even if the account is deleted.
- Server technical logs: a few days, to solve incidents. The App Check log keeps the result, path and installation identifier of each request, without your account data, for 60 days.
- Crashlytics and Analytics: according to Google's periods (90 days for crashes; 2 months for user-level usage data).
What stays on your phone
Your local profile, unpublished memes, games not yet uploaded and settings live on the phone. They do not reach our servers except as described above. They are deleted by uninstalling the app or with «Clear app data» in its profile.
Your rights
You can access, correct and delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for a portable copy. Write to tropelorio@gmail.com. If you think we are not handling it properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country.
Deleting your account
From the app, in Profile → Delete account, or without the app at https://tropelorio.com/cuenta/borrar. That page details what is deleted and what is kept.
Children
You can play without an account. To create an account, publish memes or appear on the leaderboards you must be old enough to give consent yourself in your country or have permission from a parent or guardian.
This website and support requests
This website does not include analytics or advertising. It uses technical cookies for sessions and form protection. When you email us, we receive your address and the information you include to handle your request. Avoid sending passwords, sign-in codes or card details. The hosting provider may log IP addresses and technical request data to operate and protect the service.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated and, if the change is significant, the app will let you know.
